Ever since Boogaloo can remember, music has been a part of his life; whether it was from his father who was a well known deejay, his older sister who was in an all-girl rap group when she was in high school, or himself who always loved to listen to hip-hop music. Boogaloo started to write rhymes and rap and really take it seriously when he was in high school. In high school,drama was his major, and he was also a high school basketball star, but after school, rap battles, ciphers, and being in a rap duo with a friend of his, gave him local recognition amongst his peers. Being named one of the best rappers in his community, he started doing numerous shows and contests.with big name acts,such as jada kiss,jin,jahhem, red man,mikey jay,life or death records,pete rock,and the list goes on,It was that recognition that quickly turned intoa career...
