Here is the story of the indie rock band Kitchen Porter. The band was formed in 2005 in Paris by Florian (vocals) and Antoine (guitar). Like for Adam in the bible, the Gods saw that Florian and Antoine were lonely and needed company…They decided to send Boris (bass) and Mikael (drums) onto the earth to join them. And there was the miracle !…
While on a journey in the French countryside, they stumbled into an old disused barn, which they decided to transform into a recording studio. That’s become the secret location where Kitchen Porter’s melodies are crafted, and dark lyrics first whispered to the horses...We swear that’s true !
In 2007, the band’s participation at the Emergenza festival in Paris allowed them to play in famous concert halls like the Gibus and the New Morning. This sparked the interest of the festival organizers who nominated Anticlockwise as one of the 15 best Europeans songs of the festival. Kitchen Porter has since then recorded new songs and brought out their first album untitled « Anticlockwise ».
