The aclaimed R&B singer of the J-rocks movement has drawn the comparison of reggae with rap and R&B. Singer /Studio Engineer Jahmai "JahJah" Smith, born February 15, 1988 grew up in Kingston with parents who are themselves accomplished musicians. His father, legendary guitarist Earl "Chinna" Smith and mother Maria Baines, former singer with the 80's most popular group "The Mammas" helped mould this talented and soulful brother, who without a doubt, is destined to be a successful singer.
With big brother "Earl Jr." Smith, producer, singer, and aspiring engineer coaching and guiding him, JahJah's future is definitely taking off. Being the sixth child of his parents he has always loved music, listening to his dad making music for his then High Times Records Label, he quickly grasped all the necessary ingredients needed to produce hit quality music.
Often referred to as Jamaica's Jaheim by fellow musicians, JahJah fuses R&B /Hip Hop to create his own unique style which by the response of fans will be a force to be reckoned with. Keep listening to jahjah muzik one love...
