Gio V was born and raised in Camden, New Jersey and began rapping at 7 years old. He has influenced by his older friends in his neighborhood who taught him him to rap and helped him develop his skills. He was also infuenced by east coast rappers such as 50 Cent, Cassidy and Lil Wayne and others. Gio V writes his own music and has the ability to flow in many different styles to many kinds of tracks and tempos.
