As many artists say, "CONOR has been singing since he can remember," and Conor is no exception. He began singing in the school choir from the age of 7. It wasn't long before he was singing solo every Sunday in church.
At the age of 10 yrs old he auditioned for the Belfast School of Music and was granted a place in the Junior Chorale of Belfast. These years served to train Conor both vocally and musically to create a distinct path for his future music career. Over those years Conor moved to more advanced Chorales to ultimately find himself in the adult section of the Belfast Chorale at the tender age of 14.
Conor attended St.Mary's Christian Brother's Grammar School and it was here he was given the chance to perform lead roles in many of the notorious shows. From these experiences he decided to join St.Agnes' Choral Society which then gave him the opportunity to perform in the Belfast Grand Opera House.
With gaining experience on a larger scale Conor was invited by an English director to attend an operatic course in Ripon University, Yorkshire where he also played the male lead role "The Mikado."
After this Conor decided that, after having extensive vocal experience in the classical world, it was time to do something modern!!
From auditioning for a music agency in Belfast, Conor was offered a solo record deal at the age of 18 and had the experience of recording in major London Recording studios. It was at this time that Conor decided to go to Uni and do a degree in Economics & Accounting.
As fate had it – once he got his degree – he auditioned for a boyband and was made lead singer of Emale which presented him great opportunities for 3yrs!
As part of Emale Conor Had a top 40 hits in the irish charts and supported Westlife during 21 concerts in Ireland alone!
He also supported other big pop acts such as Steps,Samantha Mumba as well as Atomic Kitten.
Conor experiences do not end there, he has also appeared on various Irish television and radio shows as well as performing at eventful award ceremonies for RTE, Open House / Den TV and all major radio stations in Ireland.
He has also attended and performed at the Buzz Awards in Ireland in 2002 and Miss Northern Ireland 3 years in a row!
As Emale came to an end Conor moved to London and joined another 4 piece set up called SUB-BASS. The band had some great achievements such as hosting their own gig at Bush Hall, touring with top pop artists and conducting an acoustic tour of London. Along the way Conor and the band attracted a huge and dedicated fan base.
Conor now finds himself solo and takes influences from artists such as Jamiroquai and George Michael and Motown greats such as Stevie Wonder and smokey Robinson. Conor is very excited about his future, he hopes you will be there to share it with him!
