György Ligeti Tribute

György Ligeti was one of the greatest composers of the 20th century and a pioneer of electronic music who died on June 12, 2006. He is best known from the general public for his opera "Le Grand Macabre" and various pieces featured in the Stanley Kubrick films "2001: A Space Odyssey", "The Shining" and "Eyes Wide Shut".
Through this online compilation, obscure and renowned electronic artists alike pay tribute to the master by submitting exclusive free tracks inspired by his works.
