Episode IV
Hailing from the dirty southland of Kentucky, Nineball is a rock and roll explosion with catchy lyrics, and a cataclysmic stage show that's sure to have you dancing... or at least nodding your head obnoxiously. And with guitar parts like a shotgun blast to the heart, and creative drum parts--they're sure to pump up any Myspace, or close-to-you venue. Their disc is great, but they're even better in-person. Hair, guitars, and the occasion pick will fling. Luke can’t help but to throw his bass around his body and yell as loud as he can right to the front row, while Joe struts around with his guitar in a Mick Jagger-like manner and swings around his mic as he sings. Vibrant music, and active musicians do mix well! If they play anywhere close, you'd be certifiable to miss them. So grab a few friends, and stop by their show to stand front-row and tap your toes to the greatest show around. Be sure to lean in close and take a listen--just watch your head for guitars and mic stands. Their debut album “Millionaires†drops this January. There’s really something for everyone on this record. It’s a straight forward rock record, with it’s dancey moments, pop moments, and believe or not it’s hardcore moments. With a title like "Millionaires" there’s a certain level of satire to a vast part of the record. For example the first track off the record entitled “All About the Money†clearly showcases the bands sarcastic view of the music industry, given their Christian roots. Other tracks such as “God save us allâ€, and “Among Ash-heaps and Millionaires†show the band’s humble side.
“We’ve really learned a lot in the past year, and every lesson we’ve learned is in this record. This record is who we are and who we don’t want to ever be at the same time.†–Luke
“We’re really excited about what we’re doing now. The Nineball name’s been around for a long time. Actually since I could play the guitar.. But we’ve dropped everything to do this. We’ve learned a lot, and although we still have a certain level of naivety to us, we’re ready to take the scene by storm. No regrets, we’ve come too far†–Joe
