About Me

Originally conceived as a fictional band by founding member Cory Rodgers, the group slowly over the course of a few years morphed into a slightly more than fictional band by 2006/2007. Before any songs were ever written, Rodgers took to writing the band name on friends' cars with markers and other guerilla marketing tactics. One such event caused a friend's significant other's car to be towed by the police and landed them on the news in an unfavorable light. Matt McNeely took over the songwriting for the band when it became apparent that original music was going to be needed for the two's film project, Jesus Rocks (Razorcat). With the aid of original founding member Virgil Marshment on drums, the trio recorded the infamous title track for the film. From there McNeely set out recording other songs for the band with or without the others' consent or input.Marginallyclean Promo
