My Name is Filip Gregor Djurhuus Hansen. I was born in Copenhagen on a sunny!? day (at least it was summer:) in 1964, which makes me 44 years young.
I was less than 1 year of age, when my parents moved me to the cold-rainy-stormy, but beautiful, Faroe Island. That brings me to my 3(three) parents:)My mother....born and raised in Copenhagen as Else Thomsen, then married as Hansen and now married as Djurhuus..that makes her name Else Djurhuus:)
THE WORLDS GREATEST MOTHER....My father No.1....Brynleif Hansen, born and raised in Fuglafjoer, Faroe Island...one of the founder of the Christian summer camps in Zarepta - www.zarepta.fo - but GOD had other plans for him and took him "home" the 26 of September 1970, by the age of only 33 year, when the passenger plain from Island crashed on the mountain "Knukur" on the island "Mykines" in Faroe Island. This left my mother, at age 28, behind, with 4 children: my brother Billy 7 years, myself 6 years, my sister Miriam 4 years and my sister Anita 3 years.My second father No.1....Poul Johan Djurhuus, born and raised in our(his:) proud capital "Torshavn"....GOD works mysterious ways and HE never takes anything away from His children, without giving something good in return,

I got the best father I can think of and 1 more sister Hervoer and 1 more brother Andrew...and I think I can say, that today, we are all busy counting blessings...what all my parents have in common is that they have dedicated their lives to our Lord Jesus Christ and are working full time in Faroe Island and Denmark as missionaries.I moved (was moved:) to Faroe Island at age +6 months, in Faroe, I lived in "Vagur" then "Vestmanna" then "Soervaag" then "Vatnsoyrar" where I lived my childhood and teenage years, went to Denmark as an deck Apprentice in the Mearsk company and graduated as Captain at the maritime school in Faroe Island in December 1986 at age 22 and have sailed around the world ever since, since 2001 in a Norwegian off shore company and the last 5 years stationed in Brazil, not the worst place to be:)Now(but not least)MY family....I married my beautiful wife May-Britt, in summer 1986 and she is, if possible, getting more and more beautiful(6y:) for each year that goes by. She have carried and given birth to our 3 Wonderful children: Viviann born 3'rd of August 1988 - Brynleif born 25’Th of August 1991 (winters are cold in the Faroes:) and Finnbjoern Frodi born 15’Th of January 1997, so that makes them today 12,17 and 20 years of age, our daugther has just started a 4 years college education at St.Norbert college in Green Bay, Wisconsin and the older son have entered the working life while thinkin over his future and the youngest one has just started in 5 grade.
I am a Seaman with capital S (I would say) and have at the moment, no intentions to change that, I like my job despite that it means I have to spend a lot of time away from family and friends back home...but on the other hand when I am home it is 100%.
This Profile was first off all made to keep contact with the youngsters in my family...but is off course quickly developing to also include other friends and interesting persons and not least musicians from various locations and style.
