About Me

I'm just an ordinary goofball trying to make my way through the twists and turns of my life's journey. I have my share of bumps and bruises as I keep running myself into sturdy brick walls, but hey... I sure am learning my way around them!
"And whatever your aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace with your soul. With all it's sham, drudgery and broken dreams......it still is a beautiful world."-last stanza, Desiderata

. . . . . . .REGGAE!!! from the legendary Robert "Bob" Nesta Marley, Peter Tosh and Jimmy Cliff to more contemporary reggae icons such as the Marley brothers (Ziggy, Julian, Damian and Ky-Mani), Morgan Heritage, Black Uhuru, Tanya Stephens and Freddie McGregor. Contemporary reggae/ska outfits/bands such as Big Mountain, UB40, Sublime and Long Beach Dub All Stars also spring to mind as well as local and talented Pinoy reggae bands such as Tropical Depression, Junior Kilat, Peace Pipe and Brownman Revival!!! I also listen to some Jazz and some select alternative songs. I also used to listen to Black Sabbath, Metallica and Megadeth (I still love their songs though! hehe!), Alanis Morisette's hits on her first album (i consider "You Learn" and "Hand In My Pocket" as classics, hehe!)... hmm... old love songs (I love the Eagles! and yeah... bread, chicago, england dan, america, hell i was also a Beatles fan once)... what else...? uhh.. practically anything appealing that has a tune! I've also been listening to a lot instrumentals lately; ... flutes, relaxing instruments, piano, harp, classical guitar, etc. I also get my kicks listening to tribal and ethnic music (tribal drums combo with kickass chantings, eg: PINIKPIKAN)...That's it, I guess... hehe.
