About Me
Dave Sixx started with music in 1989, playing the bass guitar in some bands like Empire, Toxic Age, Spitfire, Dirty Fucking Dog, and other bands, ... in 1989 he recorded "XETEROFILIAS", one visionary psychedelic debut demo tape with a project named Occultism. In the early '90, he played in a lot of bands, but the most important : Empire, after big success, radio interviews, tour and studio recordings, was in a critical situation, so he leave it first, and recorded with Toxic Age project "The Uncensored Secret of Pleasure", it was 1994. He studied piano and computer music, bass guitar and keyboards, and in 1996 he recorded "Satanic Symphony". Under the influence of Dark and Bauhaus music, in 1999, he recorded "The World of Enigmatical Icons", the first himself production without guitars. In 2000 he studied violin and he recorded "Piccolo Aneddoto Musicale", one CD of classic music on piano and church organ. The 2001 was the year of "Haunting". The album "Electric Toys for Wild Boys" was recorded in 2002, and it was a Great Powerful Heavy Metal Dynamite ! It was the first bad ass Heavy Metal album with electric guitars, Dave Sixx meets the amazing sound of Bc Rich Guitars, and with the first Warlock signed and numbered by Blackie Lawless of W.A.S.P., he created songs like "God Rock", "Electric Toys For Wild Boys" and "Under The Satan's Sign". "Instrumental" was recorded in the new Crypt Studios, it was recorded in 2003, like "Dark Opera" (an industrial, metal, dark and obscure album). With "Fast Thunder", Dave Sixx returned at the early days of Hard n' Heavy. "Guitar & Flames", changed the sounds, with a massive wall of distorted guitars, and this work closed the 2004 and the experimental age. In the 2005 Dave Sixx released "The First Fucking Videos", a collection of videos. In the 2006 he recorded "Promo 2006 - Harder Faster", the new promo CD, with 4 trax (Thundering Steel, Ride the Wind, Heavy Metal Factory and God Rock), recorded at Motto's Studio, and mixed at Cantine Acustiche, at the end of 2006 Dave Sixx created the band with Hank Bayley on the drums and Centaurus on the bass guitar. In the 2007 Dave Sixx released the new video "Pearls of Wisdom", recorded in an ancient Gothic Cemetery of Great Britain. The line-up changed and at the bass guitar coming H.Black, but after some months was changed by Zac. The 11th april of 2007 the band presented the video on NP Television with an interview. The 26th may Dave Sixx presented the new CD "Mirror Gates" on Radio GAS, at ROCK STATION. The 23th 07 2007 Cliff from BACK IN ROCK present the Dave Sixx discography on RADIO ANTENNA FONDI. One month later Hank go out, and go in a new musician Viden Spassov. In September 2007 Dave Sixx fly to London to meet the very important people of Heavy-Metal World of Discography in Europe, in November 2007 he come back in studio to record the Debut Album. In October 2007 the video "Pearls of Wisdom" is TOP DEMO on the Italian Magazine METAL SHOCK ! In December 2007 Dave Sixx signed in blood for Wayward Star Records. In the spring 2008 SIXXSTERIA or HARDER FASTER was presented on the italian METAL MANIAC MAGAZINE with interwiew, review and "kontest", on the WAYWARD STAR MAGAZINE with interview, review and a contest, RADIO ANTENNA FONDI with the Metal DJ Cliff from BACK IN ROCK and ENTRATE PARALLELE, with review and a contest by Lord Avalon.
