The Twisters

.. I Twisters nascono nell’estate del 2004 dalla grande passione per il rock ed il blues del grande Hendrix e dell’indimenticabile S.R.V.
L’idea è quella di esplorare a 360 gradi il repertorio di questi straordinari talenti cercando di dare una propria interpretazione ai brani, staccandosi quindi dalla figura di cover band classica.
Il “viaggio reinterpretativo” si spinge oltre, toccando autori famosi come BB King , John Mayall, Coco Montoya, Robben Ford ed altri ancora.
Il genere proposto,quindi, non è rigoroso; molto spesso viene esteso al blues classico, al country strizzando l’occhio anche al jazz sviluppando una situazione musicale “frizzante” e sempre in evoluzione.
I Twisters si formano dalla confluenza di diversi generi musicali, mantenendo sempre e volutamente un feel blues, che è musica genitrice, calda, avvolgente e coinvolgente.
Il titolo del CD è "Blowin' the Blues Everywhere", "Soffiando il Blues Ovunque", sarà il "credo" della band. E' come dire "suona quello che vuoi, ma mettici del blues".

Ospiti importanti sono Marco Pandolfi che suona l'armonica nel primo e nel sesto pezzo. Max "Alligator" Lazzarin che canta e suona il piano nel quinto pezzo.
The Twisters started working together in the summer of 2004 due to the same great passion for the big J. Hendrix’s and the unforgettable SRV’s rock and blues music.
The idea was to explore these extraordinary talents’ repertoire in a full panorama, trying to give personal interpretations and breaking the conventional idea of a classical cover band.
The “re-interpretative voyage” goes further than this, taking inspiration from famous authors such as BB King, John Mayall, Coco Montoya, Robben Ford and others.
The kind of music they propose isn’t therefore very strict; it often includes classic blues, country and a little jazz, so generating a ‘frizzy’ and always developing music.
The title of the cd, "Blowin' the Blues Everywhere", is the band's “belief”. It’s like saying: “play what you want, but put the blues in it”.
