About Me

Rebecca Thompson is an enrolled band member of the Mohawk Band Council of Akwesasne and the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe. She was raised both here on the reservation and in the Capital District of Albany, New York.During the past 22 years, Rebecca has been working independently and has acquired many invaluable skills and knowledge regarding the industry of photography. Some of Rebecca's personal and professional highlights include:2 album covers sold internationally Glamour shots at Iahkisota's and Tiionkwanonsote Home for the Elderly Family Portraits Individual Portraits WeddingsRebecca openned her studio in Massena, NY where she has already established a clientele. She started upstairs from the Possibilities Hair and Day Spa and is now at 39 East Orvis where she opened her doors for customers November 24th; 2006 (Black Friday}Paper Dolls will be providing high quality, affordable portraiture to local businesses such as the local schools, advertising for businesses, sports arenas, album covers, portfolios, weddings and family portraiture. Then later she will expand to a framing business in the future for her portraits and other works or art.Vision StatementPaper Dolls Portrait Studio wants to provide Akwesaron and its surrounding area with professional keepsake memories for all ages from pre-birth through school and marriage to our respected elders to last Seven Generations.
