dissatisfunction

Dissatisfunction is a one-person band, it exists solely to express, in musical form, whatever goes through its brain. There are no rules or ideas that it should be marketable, classifiable, or even listenable. It is not a commercial project in any possible sense. The music is mostly instrumental, with occasional vocal sounds/noises. It might be described as a blend of various styles/genres including soundtrack, jazz, pop, industrial, occasional noise/minimalist/atonal/circus music, etc.In terms of compositions, the Dissatisfunction project started in 1994 but at the time there was no name for it, or even the idea of making it public. It was nothing more or less than an outlet for a cathartic process. However, that has not changed at all; the only difference is that it was decided to give it a name and let other people be aware of it. There exists history before 1994 (back to the 70's in fact), but this is not relevant to the Dissatisfunction project. The idea of putting tracks on tape/CD and making them publicly available started in 1999 but this was followed quite soon by a period of disillusionment that lasted several years.
