About Me

I am currently a youth worker at Northwood Christian Church. I absolutely love working with the kids there. I have been working with middle and high school kids but I'm switching to solely high school. They are absolutely incredible! I am attending Lane Community College after attending the University of Oregon for two years. I'm a recovering music major. Now I'm not sure what I want a degree in, so I'm at Lane. I've played guitar for about 13 years, drums for 3, bass for 2, and I pretend like I play piano. I'm addicted to heroes, the office, and the colbert report. Jonathan swartout, now 20, was diagnosed with Ugliosis at the age of four. Ugliosis is a disease which causes him to be horribly ugly until he dies. Doctors say it resulted from his constant nosepicking as an infant. What is so special about him you ask? Well, despite his ugliness he is still aspiring to be a musician. His dream has proven hard due to the fact that people cannot bear to look at him long enough to hear him sing. Although his face is quite atrocious, he has a wonderful voice, which makes it an even sadder story. It is such a pity that just because he is ferociously ugly he cannot accomplish his dreams. Jonathan spends all of his time at his parents house, with only the company of his dog and closest companion, maggie, his younger sister erinn, and his best friend lanie. Jonathan is unable to go out in public without a mask of somesort, which has made it impossible to get a job, make friends, and even attend school. He therefore has grown into a horribly ugly, morbidly obese, and considerably unintelligent person. Let us all be thankful that jonathan is kept inside so that he does not spread his ugliness onto our beautiful world and desicrate our lives.
