About Me
I graduated from The Restaurant School of Philadelphia in 2000 with an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts. During culinary school I worked at a local restaurant named The Varsity Inn. I started out as a prep cook and worked my way up to Sous Chef. I eventually took on the responsibilities of the executive chef, who left for a different occupation. I continued working at this restaurant after completing culinary school. I started to study Spanish at this time because the restaurant business is highly influenced by Spanish speaking employees. Then, I went to work at the Marlton Tavern for about a year. I was fortunate enough to work under Chef Aaron McCargo Jr, host of Big Daddy’s House and winner of the Food Network Star. Next, I went on to work at a prestigious country club in Haddonfield, N.J. named Tavistock Country Club. I worked at this establishment for two years and then decided to return to school to further my education and Spanish knowledge. I decided to go back to school at Camden County College and I received my Associate’s Degree in June 2005, for Elementary Education. My objective was to become a Spanish teacher. I then went to Rowan University but I changed my major to business/marketing in order to focus on businesses I co-founded. Furthermore, I worked at Wegmans Supermarket where I prepared all the packaged foods. I worked in a cold room because they believe it will keep food out of the danger zones at all times. What they did not do is ventilate the room properly so it grew mold. I worked there for roughly six months and ended up getting mold poisoning and not being able to work in that environment after extensive treatment at University of Penn. After that time I went on to operate my businesses. I am currently employed as a chef at NFL Films.
