It's been named by The LA Times and Hollywood.com as one of the MUST SEE Super Bowl Ads this year. You'll love it.
Christa Woomer was born on April 17, 1975 in Roanoke, Virginia. She grew up in various parts of the state as her young family was transferred with her parents careers. Christa also grew up with a love of performing. To her, whether it be singing, acting or dancing - any applause was good applause and drew her like a moth to a flame.
During her senior year of school, Christa realized that acting was what was in her heart. After working successfully in regional theatre she took on other challenges including touring, children's theatre, musicals and yes, Shakespeare. Despite the joy she received performing throughout the Southern United States, Christa knew that her journey as a performer was just beginning. Packing up whatever would fit in her car (including her mother and her cat) Christa headed west.
Christa lives to make people laugh and she is so excited and is having so much fun playing a true comedic character like Lizzie in My Husband Is My Sister-In-Law which opens at the Gardner Stages in Hollywood on September 8, 2007. Abundant thanks to Theresa for creating such an awesome part for a comedienne. This play has been a sheer joy to be a part of.
Christa has worked in tv on General Hospital and Strong Medicine and can be seen in the upcoming feature films Mr. Woodcock starring Billy Bob Thornton and Susan Sarandon and Smiley Face, celebrated director, Greg Akai's new film starring Anna Ferris. She has also appeared in numerous indie and student films including The Mighty Mormon Power Rangers, Doors and Sin Eater. Christa's upcoming schedule will be filming the serial shorts Captain Rayon: Galactic Defender and Notary Public. She has also appeared as The Hot Kidnapper in the first of it's kind interactive sketch comedy internet video game, Charlie's Bitch Ass Hos" with musician Flow, actress Elaine Hendrix and comedian/actor, Brian Ecker.
