Born and raised in Birmingham,Alabama. Nig started rapping at the age of ten. In the early 80's him and his family lived in the gorvernment housing (The Ghetto) of Wenonah Projects, and by the late 80's they moved to the neighborhood of West End which was the same type of negative environment as the projects. He was influenced by a lot of his relatives mainlly his older brother, and somthing called Hip-Hop. Growing up he often listen to (NWA, LL Cool J, The Ghetto Boys, 2-Pac, Run-Dmc, The Dayton Family, Eightball & MJG, UGK, Goodie Mob, Out Kast and more). But little did he know that at the same time of falling in love with Hip-Hop he would end up being envolved in some of the negative activities that his hood had to offer. After struggling in his teen years, being confused about life, and surviving a very tragic motorcycle accident, Nig is now focused on God , Music , and Accomplishing his goals in life.
