18th August 2007 Congratulations to Emma Watson who achieved 4 A grades in her AS-level results (in Art, History of Art, English and Geography). She, also, has been nominated for an award for her part in OOTP at the National Movie Awards. The ceremony will be aired on ITV1 on August 29th, the day after it occurs. Good Luck to her!

Daniel Radcliffe has reportedly signed on to do the final 2 Potter moviews for £25 million.
Emma Watson Face of Chanel has been signed by Storm (same modelling agency as Kate Moss) and has signed a £2million deal to become the new face of Chanel.
14th August 2007 Not a lot going on in the world of Harry Potter, there is a bit of a lull following the book and film. Some figures though: The fifth movie in the Potter series has now grossed an impressive $708 million worldwide. (US - more than POA, and $8m off the domestic total for COS). For now that's it, Daniel Radcliffe is busy filming 'My Boy Jack' in Ireland. It has also been announced that Emma Watson will play the eldest sister in the Christmas BBC adaptation of 'Ballet Shoes'. I am looking forwards to seeing both.

The seventh and final Harry Potter book has broken sales records on both sides of the Atlantic, selling 11 million copies in its first 24 hours.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows sold 2.7 million copies in the UK and 8.3 million in the US.
The previous record for the fastest-selling book was held by the sixth Harry Potter novel, which sold nine million in its first day in 2005.
The book went on sale in 60 countries on the 21st July.
HBP auditions Naomi Watts, Joseph Fiennes (brother of Ralph Fiennes, who plays Voldemort), and Stuart Townsend will join the Half-Blood Prince cast when filming starts in September. Naomi Watts will play the mother of Draco, Narcissa Malfoy. It is still unknown what roles the other two actors will play.
