BACTERIA RECORDS SWITZERLAND
was created 1997 by Alexander Friedlhuemer.
As serve-oldest Swiss Techno DJ (he undertook the first Turntable activities in 1985), his DJ name is DJ Cut A. Kaos, he organized in the Techno antique, in the year 1990, definitely the first Techno parties and presented at the same time harder Beats, than one was accustomed it so far.
First he played in its birth place Zurich and a little later all over Switzerland. There is no big name in DJ business Alex did not play with, should it be Jeff Mills, Sven Väth, Westbam, Lenny Dee or Pascal F.E.O.S., just to name some. He had the desire to produce already for a long time; however up to the first publications on Vinyl he had to wait effectively to 1995. On J.T. Vanellis DBX Records, he made his debut (No More Ugly Friends / Da Emotion), some other publications followed on Prog City and a Remix too on Full-E Rec. , together with Timo Maas.

Already at that time productions were important and from today's viewpoint even essential for each DJ, which takes its job seriously.
The name is already program. A bacterium is able to assume millions of forms, none resembles the other one. The musical direction of Bacteria Records behaves equal. In the principle always electronically oriented, whereby the tracks, stylistically seen, carry a House touch in itself. Also people inspired by Detroit or Minimal will come at its expense. 10 years ago, the label was established and with the third release Bacteria Records had the break-through. Kosmo Records Germany recognized a little later the potential of the solid House track, the third release.
The republication of the amazing House track Disco3000 contributed reliably to the fact that Bacteria Records attain world-wide fame a little later.

wurde 1997 durch Alexander Friedlhuemer gegründet.
Als dienstältester Schweizer Techno DJ (die ersten Turntable Aktivitäten unternahm er 1985), namentlich DJ Cut A. Kaos, hat er in der Techno Antike, im Jahre 1990 definitiv die ersten Techno Parties organisiert und gleichzeitig härtere Beats, als man es bislang gewöhnt war, aufgelegt. Zunächst spielte er in seiner Geburtsstätte Zürich und wenig später schweizweit. Es gibt keine DJ Grösse mit der Alex noch nicht gespielt hat, sei es nun Jeff Mills, Sven Väth, Westbam, Lenny Dee oder Pascal F.E.O.S., um nur einige zu nennen. Die Lust am Produzieren hatte er schon seit langem; bis zu den ersten Veröffentlichungen auf Vinyl musste er sich aber effektiv bis 1995 gedulden. Auf J.T. Vanellis DBX Records gab er sein Stelldichein (Da Emotion/ No More Ugly Friends EP), weitere folgten auf Prog City und u.a. ein Remix für Full-E Rec. zusammen mit Timo Maas.

Schon damals waren Produktionen wichtig und aus heutiger Sicht sogar unerlässlich für jeden DJ, der seinen Job ernst nimmt. - Bacteria Records: Name alleine ist schon Programm. Eine Bakterie vermag Zig-Millionen Formen annehmen, keine gleicht der anderen. So auch die Musikalische Stossrichtung von Bacteria Records. Im Grundsatz ist Bacteria Records immer elektronisch orientiert, wobei stilistisch gesehen die Tracks durchaus einen House Touch in sich tragen. Auch Detroit oder Minimal Begeisterte werden auf ihre Kosten kommen. Vor genau 10 Jahren entstand das Label und mit dem 3. Release gelang Bacteria Records der Durchbruch. Wenig später erkannte Kosmo Records Deutschland das Potential. Die Wiederveröffentlichung des House Krachers Disco3000 trug sicher dazu bei, dass Bacteria Records weltweit Ruhm erlangen konnte. Die Playlists gaben dem Label die verdiente Unterstützung.

Wonderfully deep chords which will inspire every House fan. Lopazz (Get Physical) brings with his own remix another dance floor killer on the parquet! Rolf Imhof also made a fantastic remix, similar as his completely sold off, last 12“ on Bacteria Records - purchase duty!

Mike Sulu were able to establish itselves with their brilliant digital releases (Bacteria Records) at the electronically oriented audience. "Insects On Ice" - their first vinyl release - stands before. Soft deep chords are in correspondence with synth fragments. Short, minimal melody arms turn slightly out to the tribal touch of the original songs. The bongos are the forefront. A real voyage of discovery! But this is only after repeated listening revealed to the audience! Bjoern Nafe turns with his remix towards BIG FLOOR! The classic electro elements, 4/4 beats and a fat bass run are steadily built until every branch on the tree is sawed off! Unlike the original Bjoern Nafe has removed all tribal elements. At the beginning of the track a warm bass wave awaits you, which is up to the middle of the track rather modest, but then there is no more "sitting still" for the audience!

DJ D.U.N.E. has forged with "The Heat Is On" a really hot iron for the coming winter months. Our label has fortunately never determined to a single sound style.
The original track "The Heat Is On" uses rhythmical sounds from the groovy oldschool house times, more than it is currently the case. Not only Minimal, neither bugging nor squeaking sounds in the original track. Fat basses and a real oldschool sound, a bit similar to the legendary sounds of Frank De Wulfs incredible "THE B SIDES 12 " in the early 90s. True Dancefloor Rave signals, without being pushy or too cheap! 100% House!
It’s a Big Room track with recognition value. DJ Danny Freakazoid has taken care of this track and produced a fantastic remix. A never ending tension, without feeling lost in the endless lengths of delays, Danny picks up the essence of the track and plays the existing elements, as if it were a statement: Zurich House is still alive! His striking basses are incredibly exciting almost through the reduction of individual sounds. Danny Freakazoid was surprised about his own mix! The remix was written by Tokyo Sub. This trio has delivered the REMIX OF ITS LIFE! This is not a cheap, bold statement as the daily advertising promises, it's the absolute truth! The bass has been completely revised; the samples of the voice are pitched and transposed. Less is more.

DJ D.U.N.E. hat mit "The Heat Is On" ein wirklich heisses Eisen für die kommenden Wintermonate geschmiedet. Unser Label hat sich glücklicherweise nie auf einen einzigen Stil festgelegt. Um so mehr freuen wir uns Euch die aktuellste Produktion vorstellen zu dürfen. Der Original Track "The Heat Is On" bedient sich rhythmisch an groovigere House Zeiten, als dies momentan der Fall ist. Fette Bässe und ein echter Oldschool Sound, angelehnt den legendären Sounds von Frank De Wulfs fantastischen “THE B SIDES" in den frühen 90er. Echte Dancefloor Rave Signals, ohne dabei billig oder penetrant zu wirken. DJ Danny Freakazoid hat sich dem Track angenommen und einen tollen Remix hingelegt. Ein nie enden wollender Spannungsbogen, ohne sich aber dabei komplett in den endlosen Weiten der Echowelt zu verlieren, greift Danny nach der Essenz des Tracks und spielt den vorhandenen Elementen, als wäre es ein Statement: Zürich House Is Still Alive! Seine markanten Bässe kommen durch das Reduzieren einzelner Sounds unglaublich schwungvoll rüber. Danny Freakazoid war selber über seinen Remix höchst erfreut! Ein weiterer Mix stammt aus der Feder von Tokyo Sub. Das Trio hat den REMIX IHRES LEBENS abgeliefert! Dies ist keine plakative Aussage wie es uns die Werbung tagtäglich verspricht, es ist die reine Wahrheit! Der Bass wurde komplett überarbeitet, die Samples der Stimme gepitched und transponiert. Auch hier galt das Motto: Weniger ist mehr.

Since a long time, Andi Thoma, Stefan Müller and Ralph Grieco are working together in music business. Should it be as DJ, producer or studio - engineer. Their musical roots lie clearly in the 80's.
TOKYO SUB, they wove with much love for the detail, extremely sensitively gentle, nearly already chill out seeming sound-carpets, together with minimal beats. It’s creaking and beeping, vocal parts are floating around, between deep basses and highly transparent, finely structured, nearly transparent synthesizer-fragments. Beats kept at a moderate velocity, but despite everything absolutely dance floor suited. Minimal in its unspent, absolutely TOKYO SUB own interpretation! This 3 tracker is a real Must Have!

JASMIN BARBIR, THE FIGHT ; BACTERIA DIGITAL 013

Jasmin was born originally in Croatia. His first contact with electronic music was in age of 16. 3 years later, he bought his first DJ equipment. Jasmin Barbir felt in love to be a part of itself of the electronic movement. Only 3 month later, Jasmin won @ the Extravaganza night a DJ competition in the Ex club.
As a winner, he had the opportunity to play in the most famous clubs in the north west of Croatia like the Stars, the Monte Carlo Club ant the Ex. For the famous radio station called Radio 1, he was several times guest DJ. He was able to do warm ups for good known DJs as: Jannete Slack, Jean Marie Kone, Marcus Brown and many others.
Jasmin was/is for a long term resident @ the Pyramide club. Some years, he bought his equipment for producing his own traxx. And here we are, Bacteria Records Switzerland is proud to present the latest output of Jasmin Barbir! THE FIGHT contains with very nice remixes of Digital Groove and of course one of Tokyo Sub. The digital release is in the middle of September out, available on over 50 download portals such as Juno U.K., ect.

10 years ago, the label was established and with the third release Bacteria Records had the break-through. Kosmo records Germany recognized a little later the potential of the solid House track, the third release. The artist name was changed from Copycat to Dani König. The republication of the amazing House track Disco3000 contributed reliably to the fact that the up to then unknown Swiss DJs could attain world-wide fame a little later.

We are sure to transport successfully our original idea in the new millennium! Some months ago, the Swiss label was able to take place again at the most important music portals. In regular intervals amazing releases are published. But what is a label without vinyl? Nothing or not much. This is the cause to produce the Reload 2,0 from Bacteria Records. The new selling partner for the vinyls is Discomania. They'll bring regularly and exclusively the newest publications on the market.
With NEWTONN as starter a large throw succeeded! The third track will inspire so Minimal fans as also Detroit DJ' s. Marvelous melodies float in in the middle of crazy creaking sounds. A must have!

The fifth release will follow as soon as possible; the remix by Danny Freakazoid (DJ Dune - the Heat is on) will emerge particularly in England in some play lists and will provide for sensation. Secret tap however will be Tokyo Sub, surprise, surprise!
