DOVE was formed by drummer, Augusto Peixoto [CYCLES | HEADSTONE | ex. IN SOLITUDE |ex. PARADIGMA] in 1988.
The band released four demo-tapes and play live several times.
The powerful of the band's concerts help them to create a strong and firmed recognition in the Portuguese Metal Underground, during the 90's.
DOVE are considered one of the Thrash-Metal pioneers in Portugal and the critics were unanimous about their creativity.
Even one of the best metal magazines of the world, Terrorizer, gave to DOVE one of the best notes of always, for the Portuguese bands.
After some serious internal conflicts in the band, unfortunately, Augusto decided to finish with DOVE in 1995, and with that create the statute of cult band in Portugal.
