MAss Elite

The MAss Elite was formed in Worcester MA around 2002...it began years before but the name came in 02. Led by Nemesis (Timothy Caban) and Capital B (Timothy Be. Easy) we combined our ideas with other artists and we formed a band back in 04. We had the opportunity to perform at many Open MIC's and a few local bars and night clubs. We also had the privilege of performing at the Latino Festival in downtown Worcester 04. The main inspiration of the Mass Elite would be the one and only Loco MC, Mike Simonelli (RIP). He pushed us to rhyme and when he passed it just felt right that we not only continued to write and rhyme but that we would also improve our style and skills. It took a long time but as of Dec 07 the MAss Elite has returned with a brand new sound and a brand new band! Meeting up with long time friends one night after a show at Tammany Hall we all went down to a band space and start messing around and jamming out....that’s where this all fell into place. Our birth place would have to be Tammany Hall in Worcester! That's where we did our first Open Mic and soon after that we started writing all new songs! The New MAss Elite includes the following people: Timothy Burden (Capital B. Easy) on the MIC and guitar, Timothy Caban (Nemesis) on the MIC, Mike Curci (Mr. Curci) on the MIC, Mike Allain on the Bass, Dana Bonardi on the Drums, and Kenny Michaud on the Guitar. Other incredible artists we play with include: Josiah Burden, Becky Vaudreiul (Bex), and many others. Together we make an original Hip-Hop/Funk/Jazz/Rock/Reggae band that plans to explore any direction that each of us decides to lead us in.
