I moved to Las Vegas in the beginning of August 08. I am enjoying myself so far. I am excited to see where my life is headed. I really like Vegas I was told it was all ugly (the homelessness and garbage and all the bad) I think if you look for ugly that's what you are going to get. I think it's beautiful here and I am enjoying myself so far and am meeting some good people. I miss a few people from back home though. I'm sure you know who you are. =0)~Keep smiling~I read this and wanted to post it because I think that it is one of the most meaningful things I have ever read. Enjoy....
~*~I AM THANKFUL~*~ FOR THE WIFE WHO SAYS IT'S HOT DOGS TONIGHT, BECAUSE SHE IS HOME WITH ME, AND NOT OUT WITH SOMEONE ELSE. FOR THE HUSBAND WHO IS ON THE SOFA BEING A COUCH POTATO, BECAUSE HE IS HOME WITH ME AND NOT OUT AT THE BARS. FOR THE TEENAGER WHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT DOING DISHES BECAUSE IT MEANS SHE IS AT HOME,NOT ON THE STREETS. FOR THE TAXES I PAY BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM EMPLOYED. FOR THE MESS TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTY BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS. FOR THE CLOTHES THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT. FOR MY SHADOW THAT WATCHES ME WORK BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM OUT IN THE SUNSHINE FOR A LAWN THAT NEEDS MOWING, WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING, AND GUTTERS THAT NEED FIXING BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME. FOR ALL THE COMPLAINING I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT BECAUSE IT MEANS WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH.. FOR THE PARKING SPOT I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING AND I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION. FOR MY HUGE HEATING BILL BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM WARM. FOR THE LADY BEHIND ME IN CHURCH WHO SINGS OFF KEY BECAUSE IT MEANS I CAN HEAR. FOR THE PILE OF LAUNDRY AND IRONING BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR. FOR WEARINESS AND ACHING MUSCLES AT THE END OF THE DAY BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD. FOR THE ALARM THAT GOES OFF IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM ALIVE.

I prefer summer to all other seasons. Someday I will live somewhere warm. Hopefully sooner than later. Seems like I am just setting my life up for bigger and better things. I am loyal and true to my good friends and prefer their company to large social occasions. Not to say that I don't like going out, because I love it! I LOVE LIFE! I seem to take a resort attitude to life though. My pace is unhurried island time, a slower, more meditative approach. Sometimes others seem to get frustrated at my seeming lack of regard for their pace of life, they should actually be thankful, for I feel I am the embodiment of natural rhythm that we should all strive for. =) My vibe is mellow, but don't mistake that for lazy. I am extremely hard working. You will usually catch me with a cup of coffee or a Red Bull in hand at any given point of the day/night. It seems that I am an intriguing mix of traditional and modern, deep down I believe in the fact that men provide and women LOOK GOOD! =) (I do provide for myself though. (It's a good thought!) At the same time, I embrace my raw female power, stepping out smartly, never afraid to state what I want. I am extremely self-possessed and very much my own woman. (Not in a bad way!) If this hasn't given you enough information about me and there is something else you want to know just ask. Please! How else are you going to get to know somebody! MUAH!!!!
