About Me
Hello friends, this is just some of the music I have been working on recently. Hope you enjoy. My first album will be complete sometime in 2008. In the meantime, take a listen to these tracks and let me know what you think.
Piano, Guitar and Singing: Â Was there anything else this Femme Fatale was destined to do being born into a family of musicians? Â At an early age, it was second nature for Sarah to sing and dance, especially to artists like Michael Jackson, Madonna and the Rolling Stones who greatly influenced her musically. The banging she did on the piano, as a toddler, lead her parents to believe that maybe she should take lessons. Â She did so for several years and eventually added the trumpet and drums to her list of talents. Â At age 15, she taught herself to play the guitar. Â After a few years, Sarah decided she wanted to do more with her music. Â Her brother introduced her to another female guitarist, Danielle, and it was an instant musical connection. Â They formed the band, Day, which featured them both singing and playing guitar.
Day was short lived but provided Sarah a great learning experience and the launch of her musical journey.  She wrote and recorded songs, few of which were featured in the independent film “Secrets of Fenvilleâ€, directed by Fox Valade, which was a major accomplishment.  Soon after, she was approached by a very eclectic Emily Rogers to play guitar in a funky all girl band. Sarah jumped at the opportunity.  With the combined energies of Detroit’s finest female talents, Lola Valley emerged.  Sarah’s musical skills and confidence grew immensely with this experience.  With all the many adventures Lola Valley brought, meeting producer Frankie Fultz was one of them.  Sparks flew between this musical duo and they have been unstoppable ever since. Â
Now, with the release of Sarez, Sarah’s solo project, she has a chance to share her own creative visions with the world.
