.. ..My name's Alaine and I'm happily married, going on 33 years to a great guy who is my best friend and always makes me laugh. I have a grown daughter who lives a few blocks from me and I still don't get to see her often enough as we both get caught up in our busy lives. I work for an independent paint and flooring store where I get to play with colors - I manage the office and help customers to choose colors of paint and flooring for their homes. I also do decorative painting using the Donna Dewberry method of "One Stroke" painting and do in-home color consults. The paint store is my job; and a great place to work but my painting and consulting are my passion. I am now taking a course in Interior Decorating to further my knowledge and branch out into the decorating market. I live in beautiful Huntington Beach, CA also known as "Surf City". In January we had a new addition to our family and his name is Buddy. Buddy is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, yea it's a mouthful. I had never heard of them until my husband, Dan, came home and showed some pictures of them and asked how I felt about getting one. Well if you have not seen pictures of them, check out my pics of Buddy. One look and you fall in love. When choosing a puppy to take home, the question is which ones don't you take home because you will want all of them. He has been a wonderful addition to the family. Well, enough of this for now.
