For gargoyles they say, are angels in disguise, sent to watch over a special few.His granite hide scarred and scraped, inside a warm and tender soul, frail and fragile. Beneath lays a heart scarred.Taught at an early age not to care, not to feel. This upbringing enforced by the cruel nature of the people around. Only for a special, select few does he cares to open up for. Only one has cared to look past the defenses and see. One who destroyed his heart and soul, and always has. The only one to see the man under the shell.Only one, who taught this dark, lonely creature to love and feel again. One who had his upmost love and devotion. Alone again, hope and patience having been proven pointless, crushed, the one he loves left him.
