My name is Giovanni, most just know me as Gio. My life is film & music. I'm an independent film writer/director, as well as a vocalist. I was born and raised in southern Italy, in the regions of Naples & Caserta. I moved to the United States with my family in '94, at the age of eight. A young boy not knowing a single word of English, years later here I am. Trilingual in English, Italian, and Spanish. In the U.S. I spent the majority of my childhood in San Diego, CA (shout out to the 619!). I come from a culture that is based on family, respect, and helping those in need - not to mention some damn good food! I'm the most laid-back person you'll ever meet, and I like to have a great time wherever I am. Respect plays a major role in my life. I was raised to always remember that respect is the number one thing in life, but there's a catch: you gotta earn it. I can be the nicest guy on the planet...just don't fuck with me. I'm one of the few remaining loyal people on this earth, and I cherish friendship to the heart.
I like to travel and explore new things, new places, new people. I live everyday like it's my last one, you never know if you're gonna be here tomorrow! I enjoy the finer things in life, and I work and fight 'till the end to obtain them. I love animals and nature. You'll see me laughing and cracking jokes no matter where I am. If you don't see me laughing and joking it means something's wrong. My life since I was a child has been dedicated to film, I graduated from LAFS (Los Angeles Film School) with a focus in Directing. I also have a passion for music and have been singing for many years. Music is my way of releasing stress.
