We are a vegan animal rights sanctuary founded in 1993, Kent England. Home to all manner of abandoned and abused animals. Our ten arce site, a former orchary, features lush green fields where our animals can roam freely in peace and harmony, various shelters and barns, caravans for our regulary volunteers and even a ceremonial Healing Garden, dedicated to the memory of recently deceased long time animal activists Gari Allen. We are in the process of planting new fruit trees, the fallen ones are used as fencing, which also creates habitats for wild flowers and insects.

Friend was established to provide sanctuary for abused, unwanted and orphaned animals, offering a permanent safe home for the rest of their lives. There are now over 100 animals at the sanctuary. Everyone of them is an individual and everyone has a story to tell of neglect, abuse, or abandoment, and if it was not for our sanctuary, everyone of them would have been killed to satisfy the whims on the meat, dairy, and pet slave trades.
We are home to 4 cats, 5 goats, 9 dogs, 4 geese, 11 cows, and more chickens, sheep and pigs then you can count.
We host the annual UK Animal Rights Gathering and have hosted three international Animal Rights gatherings where friends from over 30 countries have visited and stayed.
At the moment we are in the process of some major ground building work. WE NEED YOUR HELP - BOTH FINANCIAL AND PHYSICAL. If you would like to get involved, either by making a donation, joining the supporters list, or coming a volunteering at the sanctuary, helping with the animals, or with maitenance. Then please get in touch.
