music. Illz was influenced by the works of KRS 1, Ice Cube, Nas, Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, DJ Quik, Rass Kass, Redman, Blackmoon, Digable Planets, Wu Tang Clan, KooL G Rap, Snoop Dogg, and Tribe Called Quest just to name a few.
He began creating music at the age of 12, Battling classmates atrecess, lunch, and P. E. During his high school years, it was very common tofind Illz in a cipher blowin minds with his lyrical darts. Illz emerged as one ofthe most highly regarded new rappers on the west coast in some time,winning particular acclaim for his skills as a lyricist. A skilled veteran in theart of rhyming, Illz has been Rhyming since 1993. He has since grown veryfrustrated at the current state of Hip Hop music. He feels that the West Coasthas been disrespected for some time now, and has vowed to bring a strongappreciation for the West back. Illz accepts the responsibility of proving theWest Coast got mind blowing lyrics and blazes a track with thesephenomenal bars from the song Zoo-ology,
