Operated by Terrence O'Brien, it is the home of his Anomalous Disturbances recording project, as well as various related collaborative projects.
Disappearing Music has released two CDs by Anomalous Disturbances - "HovR" in 2003 and "Archive One" in 2004.
These CDs can be found at www.cdbaby.com/all/tob
Of course these albums can also be found at Apple's iTunes store, eMusic and other fine purveyors of online music.
After a four year hiatus, Disappearing Music will be ramping up to release several new recordings throughout 2009, beginning with the Anomalous Disturbances CD, "Archive Two", a double album of recordings made between 2001 and 2008. Some of the tracks on this CD have been previously released on now out of print compilations and special projects, but will now be together for the first time on one album. The album also contains some new mixes, re-workings of older ideas and previously unreleased soundscapes.

Next will be the Anomalous Disturbances album "Inside", a collaboration project by Terrence and his Los Angeles based brothers Chris and Wayne. The working moniker for this project was OB3, but it has now been re-purposed and re-named as a new Anomalous Disturbances album. The collection of tracks featured here are from this upcoming release.
Another pending TBA release will be Wassonic, a collaboration with long time Toronto based friend, Matthew Poulakakis (aka Automatic Fats, SalvageSound and member of Noino and Harold).
Terrence O'Brien (aka Anomalous Disturbances) creates ambient soundscapes via electronically modified live looping guitar improvisations.
Stay tuned for more from Anomalous Disturbances and Disappearing Music in '09.
