My design goal?

I am glad to say I have done that for quite a few people.
KMA Designs is my Interior Decorating Business. Create Order is my Professional Organizing Business. They intersect but are really two companies. Create Order deals with space planning, organizing systems, estate clearing, relocation, and hoarding. KMA changes peoples lives in a different, beautiful way. I create a home with/for people. People are taking fewer vacations this year - so I help create a destination in their own home. I don't design to impress. I dislike the McMansion attitudes. I design to make people happy, and comfortable in their own home.I also give lectures on Fashion History - mostly Victorian through 1960.
My friend (who is also a MySpace buddy) and I give wonderful art, architecture and mural tours through out the SF Bay Area - we are known as "Girl Guides." We especially love the WPA murals, and love showing the Diego Rivera murals.Preseving historic architecture is a passion of mine.
I like nothing better, professionally than when a new client calls and says, "I have just bought an old house, and I need help fixing it up - bringing it back, taking out the remuddle and restoring it." Of course I can decorate in any style. Look at my photos, some are like a hotel- a clients request, another quite contemporary. But, all bring beautiful serenity to lives. That makes me proud.I am renovating my home, built in 1912, the same year the Titanic went down.
