Torpdo Records was one of the UK producers reggae labels in the late 6ts, early 7ts. It was set up by The Equals bassist Eddie Grant and UK producer and sounsystem operator Lambert Briscoe during 1970. It is best remembered these days for its Hot Rod All stars Sides and one or two others. Larry Lawrence twiddled the knobs on a few tracks, notably Errol English`s cover of the Small Faces Sha La LaLa Lee. The B-side of this was entitled A.G.G.R.O. by teh Bovver Boysand dispite the skinhead-flavoured title.
The label folded the same years it started, but Grant revived it again in 74-75.
