St. Louis native, Alicia Aunyae Williams is a natural born artist who accommodates multiple fine qualities. She has no reservations when making her talents known. At the age of five her star qualities began to emerge as her ability to carry a note was as natural as the seasons. By age 9 she discovered her gift of learning to play the piano by ear. The two talents married and gave birth to a young entertainer.Aunyae’s ability to assemble an audience and embrace their attention is phenomenal. As a youth, when time out was administered, as a form of punishment she saw this as an opportunity to utilize her voice and she would sing from her second floor bedroom window capturing the attention of her peers and rerouting their activity. She not only captured the attention of children, her audience was limitless including children teenagers and adults who would stop to enjoy her singing until she was reminded that time out did not come with a stage. To this date when performing she continues to gain control of her audience as she displays her colorful talents mirroring that of a peacock’s feathers.First place is second to none in her life as she is the first freshman to play the star role Dorothy from the Wiz at her high school Central VPA, the 1st female to rock the title Beatsta (first Lady of Beatsta Music), 1st young director of all three choirs at her church (Second Missionary Baptist Church)Talent Wise beyond her years, the soulful songstress reads writes, produce and arrange music. She is a true Genius in the studio. Her vivacious lyrics capture the ears of her listeners and become anthems.
