About Me

Welcome to the official space of Zanna Lee.....:)

I am of the eclectic sort and have traveled the World writing songs about my various experiences. I come from a family of musicians and have been singing and playing instruments since the age of 8 including piano, clarinet, oboe, keyboards and congas. I play 12 string guitar and a little bass and am a singer/songwriter. I am also an artist/painter, and have performed with dance troupes doing belly and african dance.

Music is my first love. My first band was in Atlanta called Unbroken. Since then, I have played in a number of rock bands including The Faith and Inner Visions, an Atlanta based reggae band. I have toured with New York’s Dharma Bums and lived and played in Maui, HI with a reggae band known as Uprising featuring the lead guitarist from Big Mountain, Calvin Banks.

I had a small stab of fame in Denmark and have been played on the radio where I fronted the techno-rock of Le Monde. Other bands include Tennessee based Vibe Tribe and The Planetarians on The Farm as well as various other solo bands.

I am currently in the studio recording and hope to have some new tunes up soon!
