About Me

World Imitation is the collective best known in its musical incarnation: Monitor, active 1977-1982, in Los Angeles, California.

The long-awaited CD release of their recorded work, with previously unreleased concert and rehearsal material, will be included in Antonio Beecroft’s authorized history, "End of the World: World Imitation/Monitor 1977-1982," to be published in 2010.
