I need the smell of summer. I need its noises in my ear. If looks could really kill, then my profession would be staring. Know we do this cause we care. Not for the thrill. Collect calls to home. Tell them that I realize that everyone who lives will someday die and die alone. Write more postcards than hooks. I read more maps than books. I feel like every chance to leave Is another chance I should've took. Every minute is a mile. I've never felt so hollow. I'm an old abandoned church with broken pews and empty aisles.Here's everything you need to know. I play for Sacramento XSV and New York NRG. Monday thru Friday: Work and do laundry. Saturday and Sunday: Drive to Nor Cal, San Diego, or some other random city for practice. Come home. Start the week over again. I do that for 3 weeks out of a month. Then I get on a plane and fly to an event. We go from field to hotel for 4 days. Hopefully we do well, win some money and come home. Just to do the same thing next month. And It's all I could ask for. I wouldn't change a thing about it.
