Been on musical hiatus for many many years and gradually leaning more towards getting the hang of playing and recording again. I have plenty of ideas and material needing to be completed in raw form, but it takes time to get it where I would like it to be. In order to keep costs down, Ive been taking upon myself the building of computers and learning the ins and outs/ups & downs of that-the technology can be insanely buggy. Ive done a few builds now and have a few more before all will be settled in for a year or two. Quad cores are just coming into affordability but at present I only write as fast as my dual core and old single core AMD and socket 478s allow. Also getting the jist of all the technology which is still rapidly evolving-wireless, networking, Linux, webpages.. etc. Even though most of this has been around for years now, its a new trip for me. Needless to say, theres also been somewhat a learning curve moving on with transistioning to digital/software oriented recording. (not to mention, it can get very costly) Ive been slowly aquiring gear, piecing together a home studio and gathering strength in playing/arranging for other instruments. The demos you find here on myspace are a crude beginning; very rudimentary 4 track style done with Riffworks and L6 software models. I hope to have more advanced material with a more polished appeal coming up the in later quarters/semester of 2008. (3-31-08)
