I LOVE! HOUSE music. The way LA looks after a hard rain, hopping in bed with sheets still warm from the dryer, dancing in the middle of a crowded floor, the way Dolce and Gabbana's Light Blue smells, laughing with a friend so hard breathing becomes challenging, riding my bike around Marina Del Ray, winning at video poker with a beer and cigarette in hand, to sing in front of any size audience or venue, when Mariah holds that mid alto range, taking my cousin's son to the park to get on the swings, ripping the tags off a new pair of jeans, a good seafood restaurant and a bottle of merlot, going with my dad to a jazz concert, talking politics, playing pool, hiking with a great view as the climax, kissing for what feels like hours, being an optometric nerd by discussing differential diagnosis with colleagues, reading a book that changes the way I think, when my roomate comes home every thursday with fresh flowers from the street fair, sailing, listening to my grandma sing, dressed up and partying with friends, my morning coffee bean stop, being tired from no sleep but knowing it was worth it, living with no regrets, right now....damm this list is long!!!
