If you’re looking for something fun and different for the school holidays that your whole family can get involved with and enjoy, or if you want to discover some new places around Manchester that will thrill and inspire you, join us this summer for the third ever Family Friendly Film Festival!
This year the Festival is hitting screens at even more venues – museums, libraries, theatres, art galleries and cinemas – that are some of our favourite family hangouts.
Many events are free, and none of them will cost you more than a fiver, so start planning your festival experience now and see some of the best family films from around the world!
Highlights this year will include:
A pyjama party at The Manchester Museum with Night at The Museum.
PIRATES ARRRRGGGHHH COOL day at Stockport Plaza (be sure to dress up!).The best in Manga at Urbis.
First Flicks screenings for toddlers.
Plus lots of events to tie in with National Year of Reading, including screenings of animations of children's classics like Where The Wild Things Are at libraries and special screenings of Chalie & Lola at The Manchester Art Gallery, and some Olympics-inspired screenings of films about kids that really stretch the limits in some very unusual sports... like ultra-athletic international jump rope!
