Red Lester and his Stilton Stetsons

About Me

Made his debut playing solo Hemsby session in 2001.(videos will be uploaded)Started recording debut album(sore throat sessions), in march 07,at Lightning recorders in east Germany. No overdubs, everything recorded live ,mistakes left in place.Sun legends, Glen Honeycutt and Rayburn Anthony, also recorded at Lightning recorders and remarked on the closeness to the original Sun sound and feel. The technology was all analogue/tube(valve).Musicians were: Red Lester-vocals, Axel Praefcke- lead guitar and drums,Michael Humpty Kirscht-lead guitar,Ike Stoye-acoustic guitar and piano,Tina Hohne-drums,Lucky Lehmann-doghouse bass,Berni Bilko-acoustic guitar. The east Berlin sessions may be added to and released seperately, to the CDs,that are currently being worked on at the Doghouse Studios. The doghouse sessions were completely live recordings. The technology used, to capture the latest hot tunes, were tube(valve) and RCA ribbon microphones. The musicians involved in the latest sessions, have included Rusti Steel,Stew Dale,Mark Bending,Dave Collins and Berni Bilko. All words and music by Red Lester/Berni Bilko. Detroit DJ,Del Villarreal(www.motorbilly.com , gokatgo.)has played several, Red Lester and his Stilton Stetson songs, on his internet radio show. He also played a few numbers, from The Queen Vic , at the Rockabilly Rave. please email Del at [email protected] and request Red Lester and his Stilton Setsons.
