Taranto Underground Rock Radio è concepita come punto d'ascolto della musica prodotta dalle bands dell'area di Taranto, con eccezzioni che verranno valutate di volta in volta.
NB: Rock non è un termine discriminante, la radio accetta tutti i generi musicali, importante è la provenienza.
In più, la radio cerca di proporsi, insieme ad altre realtà locali, anche come punto d'incontro virtuale e non, per le persone interessate, in eventi, discussioni ed altri aspetti della musica nell'area tarantina.
TURR non è professionale ma un progetto personale a tempo libero.
TURR non ha nessun fine commerciale

In addition to act as portal for listening to the music it also tries to be, together with other local projects, some kind of community network for people interested in events, discussions and other aspects of the music life of the city area.
TURR is a spare time project.
