About Me

..Half Dead is a very unique rap act coming from an old dusty coal town called Hazleton, Pennsylavania and surrounding areas. The music could be consider horrorcore at tymes, but not all the tyme. Basically it can be described as Reality-based horrorcore hiphop. They paint their faces as entertainers, but hiding no reality behind the mask they spill their deepest and darkest thoughtz through their music. The music revolves around the basic aspects of life as well as subliminal verses that occur, as a horror with in their own imagination. The art of being alive, but emotionally dead inside. Half Dead's music is very unique in multiple ways. Every song seems to have its' own sound. The vocal and lyrical styles change in each song, so no song really ever truely sounds the same. Half Dead was formed earlier in this century, but made no attempt to release any music to tha general public until March 15th, 2006 at their first debut show in Kingston, Pa. Performing live at Backstage Enterprises. The crowd took to Half Dead very well and from their on, the history of Half Dead began to take place. Half Dead then spent the rest of the year doing shows and releasing home recorded free mixtapes in the style of most underground hip hop acts. Around this tyme Half Dead added a rapper to perform wit them and hype them up, but not to be part of the group. He goes by the name Stillborn. After the new year passed a lot changed and due to personal issues Half Dead broke up. Cannabis and Sniper decided to go solo. After a few months passed, the two engaged in conversation over their problems and confronted them. Which leads up to this point. Half Dead as of 4.20.07 is back together and ready for the next step in their legacy. Half Dead now consist of three members. Sniper. Evil Wayz. Stillborn. Cannabis changed his name to EVIL WAYZ. Stillborn was added due to his dedication and sick twisted thoughts. These three sinz will bring a level of underground horrorcore rap that has yet to be found. Join us as we step into a new realm of horror/gothic/reality/hiphop.-Sniper
