Greetings my fellow Brothers & Sisters of the masonic order & myspace friends. I'm Brother Brittish S. & I hail from Boaz Lodge # 212 of Daytona bch Fl. were I've held the position as Junior ..hen moving on to Senior Dec.
I was born & raised in Miami Fl.
I'm a loving husband & father of 4. I come from a long line of P.H.A. Masons, Starting with my Great Grandfather (Mother's father) P.M. Elmer Hollis Sr. "33rd",
My Grandfather P.M. Elmer Hollis Jr. "33rd", A host of Uncles, & Cousins all the way down to me!
I'm the son of a preacher & My mother was a missionary.
So I went to church 8 days out of 7 LOL!
But I was raised on a steady diet of my elders' affirmations: "What goes around comes around!" and "Be careful of what you asked for because you just might get it!" Theses elders rarely took the time to explain exactly what they meant, and I'm not sure that Big Mama or Aunt Elvie actually knew that these were restatements of the universal principles. What they did know from experience and observation was that there is a rhythm & order in life.
They also knew that these things operate in life to create real circumstances and conditions. As a child, and even in my young adult, I thought I could outsmart these principles, avoid my comeuppance, and reap only the good of what I had sown. I was wrong, and life proved it to me time and time again. After many trials and errors, usually when I was flat on my face, I began to understand that the principles & laws of life and nature obeyed you to the exact degree that you obeyed them.
The lapse of time, the ruthless hand of ignorance, and the devastations of war have laid waste and destroyed many valuable monuments of antiquity on which the utmost exertions of human genius have been employed.
Let's wake up people!!!
