Noreda emerged into the world November 30, 1980 to the union of an accomplished musician/ composer father and a lyric soprano mother. Her father, being a pastor who maintained strong musical influence, recorded several albums featuring young Noreda's voice.
To date, Noreda has sung and/or recorded with such musical greats as: Richard Smallwood, Twinkie Clark, Dorinda Clark, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, The Harlem Gospel Chior, Andre' Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra, Walter Johnson, Ricky Jones, LeJuene Thompson and Lyfe Jennings. God has allowed Noreda's talents to be heard both nationally and internationally, traveling to France, Bermuda, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and The Netherlands. Bellowing intense 1st soprano notes with intense soul, Noreda has captivated her audience from the time her father stood her atop his pulpit until today.
Noreda then developed the freedom of poetry, gleaned from the creative influences around her and learned to share her experiences with real music. Her writing style paints a picture of life through the eyes of a left-handed Sagittarius. Having seen many obstacles, Noreda delivers a heartfelt message of truth, awareness and hope.
Compelled to the aid of others, Noreda has performed in senior living and correctional facilities and benefit concerts on behalf of the victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Noreda's rich toned voice, with seemingly endless range resounds with authentic pain and compassion reminiscent of Aretha Franklin, Faith Evans, Lauryn Hill and Kelly Price.
You will be blown away by Noreda's integration of gospel, R&B and Soul. She creates lyrics and melodies that are sure to have you infected with rhythmic anticipation.
