Musical instruments - If it was meant to be played I'm gonna try it. Music - writing, performing, recording, etc. Just rockin out, movie fanatic, reading, irresponsible blood/alcohol levels. Stuff like that
My Top 8 should some this one up... Who I'd like to meet? Earthlings have been getting me down lately, but I'm not sure what kinda clout this MySpace outfit REALLY has in the bigger picture, so hit me up anyway, change my mind: MSN Messenger - [email protected] OR Yahoo! messenger - jgs_retriarius OR AOL Instant Messenger - Retriarius
Fuck yes. Everything. All of it. Bring it on. Right now? Foo Fighters, duh. The new Chris Cornell album's pretty good. And Shooter Jennings. Oh, John Hiatt. ALWAYS gonna love Jason Webley. Recent mood swings: APC, Mars Volta, Deftones, Acid Bath, but these are all recent additions. Let's see - Guns n' Roses, 'tallica, Led Zep, Cream, anything rockin, anything bluesy, lotsa punk like Soc D and AFI, Bad Religion, hell, I don't know -- there's so much more. Check out Vaux and Opeth and Down for some rockin tunes, or Seether's new one is pretty good. Jet and Buckcherry too. Oh, lord, you have to hear Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds -- they'll change your life. Everything. All of it. Let's not forget deaf karaoke

Anything by the gangster directors (Copolla, Scorcese, DePalma, Mann, etc) anything with/by Quentin Tarrintino. Anything with some the great method actors: Brando, Nicholson, Deniro, Pacino; recently Sean Penn, Ed Norton's my boy. Completely forgot the man, Johnny Depp. Charlize Theron is great. Ryan Gosling is my new fave. Anything trippy, anything deep, anything thought provoking. Oh... Being John Malkovich was a trip. Not a lot of comedy -- unless it's rockin like Old School or Spinal Tap or the Big Lebowski--- probably something else I'm missing... Is Shyamalan coming out with anything?
HOUSE. Uh, History Channel, Discovery, war documentaries, A&E, church history, etc... Not a lot of good TV shows lately, besides House and, of course, The Office
Anything post-apocalyptic. I read all of Terry Brook's stuff -- guilty pleasure. Crichton has a ton of good stuff. American writers from about 1930 to 75 or so. Any of the old stuff - Romantics, Dante, Milton, anything with some weight behind it, y'know? John Keats is my boy, wrote a song about him - check him out if ya get a chance.
My grandma lived her life taking care of everyone else and loving with more heart than God gives most saints and martyrs. That hits home with a selfish chap like myself everytime I think of her. That strength is in my mother and I pray it's in me.
