About Me

I'm 45 years old and have been happily married for 25 years. I am a programmer for a national wholesale company and enjoy creating digital art, playing video games, creating music with Native American Style Flutes ( check out http://www.myspace.com/mikehaynesnaf ), BEER (pale ale, stouts, porters, etc.), nature walks, beginner books about various philosophers, and several different types of music from ZZ Top to Led Zeppelin to Rob Zombie to Marylin Manson to The Dresden Dolls to Rasputina to Muddy Waters, Louis Armstong and BB King. We are the "consiousness" of this universe.
If there is a god, we are it. Just don't bow down too quickly. We're mortal and microscopic in contrast to this vast universe. We are definitely not omnipotent; we can die and return to "star stuff" just as quickly as we came to life. We don't have all the answers, and we are not all necessarily loving and benevolent either. We simply are...there's a beauty in that...and there you go...
