Once upon a time I was born in what is formerly known as the USSR, and is now known as good ol' Mother Russia. Then when I was about 9 yrs. old I packed my bags and swam to the United States of America, the best country in the World. The time this huge change in my life took place around the summer of 1991....Fast-forward a decade and some change and I'm a Rutgers (Pre-med.) grad. getting ready for Medical School. The field of medicine that I will be pursuing is one I will decide upon when doing my Clinical Rotations in 2009. In my opinion, to dedicate one’s life to medicine and humanity is the ultimate commitment. To become a physician is the most noble and unselfish profession one can choose because it is a lifestyle dedicated to care, research, and one’s ability to serve the people in a most meaningful manner. It is a privilege and a personal dream of mine which I have made my goal. However, when I'm not in the lab with a pen and a pad (Dr. Dre...doctor of music), I get down with the art of Bboying aka “breakdancing†with my crew T.F.I. (The Floor Invaders). My main hobby is dancing because that's where I get to use the left side of my brain, be creative, and take my mind away from the some of the mundane every-day things of daily life.
