Bakersfield Grace

We have a vision of a church where everyone is welcome, regardless of race, color, financial position, religious heritage or background.A church that is united in fulfilling the Great Commission of the Gospel of Christ - to go into all the World and preach the Gospel, first in our own community of downtown Bakersfield and then to the uttermost parts of the earth.A church that is strong in heritage yet fresh in style, always relaxed and comfortable with upbeat music that gives praise to God and worship that ushers us into His presence. The message will always be Bible-based and relevant, with application for our lives today.A church where the gifts of the Holy Spirit are in operation and a Spirit-led lifestyle is encouraged.A church that will meet the needs of people, spiritually and physically, by fulfilling Jesus' commands in Matthew 25.A place that provides food for the hungry, refreshing water for those who are thirsty. A place where strangers will always be welcome. For those who are physically and spiritually naked, we will clothe them. The sick will not be neglected and those who are captive will be set free.This is a place where families are strengthened. The special needs of our infants and children will always be well taken care of. Youth will be inspired and challenged to live to a higher standard. Our singles will always feel at home.
