Fuzz.com Gets FRAMED
Art Show combines local artists, musicians’ pieces with raw fish, Northern Soul and art elite
San Francisco, CA, May 6, 2008: Fuzz is proud to present the FRAMED art show at The Space Gallery with pieces by rock luminaries including dredg’s Gavin Hayes and Drew Roulette, and The Good Hustle’s Ben Henderson. The multi-disciplined artists will be on hand to show their work alongside local art talent Emily Adams, John Baunach, Parker Day, Chris Koehler, Summer Makovkin, Lance Mercer, Beau Roulette and Frank Zio.
Also throwing their arty hats in the ring are SF indie label Tricycle Records. Label founders Julie Schuchard and Don Joslin will be showcasing work alongside two of the label's art designers and work from three label artists (members of The Blacks and The Frail).
At 7pm, an exclusive VIP reception and meet and greet will kick off, featuring cocktails by Dewar’s, JetSet and Grey Goose and sushi by Blowfish. DJ Otterpop (Rocket, Electric Boog-A-Loo) hits the decks with Britpop, hip-hop and favorite cheesy indulgences until 10pm, when famed duo Brian and Kevin (Seattle’s popular Emerald City Soul Club) spin two hours of Northern Soul.
The only way in to the show and VIP reception is to register at fuzz.com and sign up for the guest list.†A limited edition poster, designed by Hayes only for this event will be handed out to attendees at the end of the evening.†â€
FRAMED: May 30 at The Space Gallery, 1141 Polk Street, San Francisco.
