If your not a DJ yourself (read self-employed entrepreneur, works 24
hours most days, 26 hours on some days, a working machine) you may not
appreciate the tag "Mr. Quit Playin', Quote. It's been this
self-advice, along with some serious strength from God that has kept me
drug free and a tee-totaler (that's an old school word for someone who
doesn't drink alcohol). Djin' gets me high and Pepsi is my adult
beverage of choice.
I've been Djin' for over 10 years and professionally since 1995. DJs
that have inspired me include: DJ Kid Capri, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Jam
Master Jay (RIP), DJ Mix Master Mike (RIP), and Steve Jenkins, AKA DJ
Rox. Among DJs who produce mix CDs my favorites are: DJ Spinbad, DJ
Green Lantern, and DJ Clinton Sparks. The most interesting person I
have ever met is the other side of me (ok, so you don't get it- people
who know me well, will appreciate it).
I enjoy parties, but since I don't use alcohol or drugs to "enhance"
the situation, I had to find some other way to fit in with the party
crowd and enjoy myself. That is how it all started. I've done opening

I'm a studio DJ, and now Ive got a few radio gigs. Im going to keep
it real and give the listeners what they want to hear, not what typical
radio says they are supposed to hear. When I DJ for listeners (not
dancers, like in a club) and make mix tapes I've got more freedom and
can provide greater variety. You get new music as well as favorites
and YOU can control when you hear them.
